Paul Garnett Beahm (April 10, 1962October 28, 2018; age 56) was an actor and stunt performer who played one of Cheng Zhi's henchmen during Season 6 of 24.

Biography and career Edit

Paul Beahm was born in Limestone, Maine to George and Noriko Beahm. He is half-Japanese on his mother side. Beahm graduated from Denbigh High School in Newport News, Virginia. On September 4, 1994, he married his wife Abbey in Waupaca, Wisconsin. The couple had two children: Seth and Hannah.

Before entering the entertainment business, Beahm worked as an insurance salesman for John Hancock and then as a carpenter. Since 1990, he started working as a stunt performer. Beahm worked on films like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Batman Returns, Mortal Kombat, Batman & Robin, Swordfish, and Windtalkers, among others. He also worked on TV shows like Banshee, Nash Bridges, and Fear Factor.

Paul passed away on October 28, 2018 at his home in Raleigh, North Carolina, after being diagnosed with lung cancer.[1][2][3]

Role on 24 Edit

Beahm played one of Cheng Zhi's henchmen on the oil rig in the final episode of Season 6 of 24. His character rushed to the oil rig platform along with Cheng Zhi and Simon Rhee's character, but was killed in the explosion when Jack blew up the fuel tank. Beahm was not credited for his appearance.
