Pavel was a Russian mercenary guarding the Letitcia container ship during Day 9.
Pavel was shot and killed by Jack Bauer and Belcheck around 10:20pm as they made their way to the ship's bridge. Minutes later, their leader unsuccessfully attempted to contact Pavel and Marat by radio, alerting Cheng Zhi that intruders had boarded the vessel. ("Day 9: 10:00pm-11:00am")
