Peter Iannone was a government official or staffer familiar with the career of National Security Advisor Karen Hayes during Day 6.

Day 6

White House Chief of Staff Tom Lennox, seeking to blackmail Karen Hayes into resigning, sent his subordinate, Reed Pollock, to go dig up dirt on Hayes. After Reed spoke with a staffer named Sharon, he acquired a list of people who were willing to incriminate Hayes in some of her questionable decisions. Peter Iannone was among them, and promised to testify against Hayes if called upon. Others on the list who made similar promises were Myra Mawk and Kurt Huieg.

Peter and the others were never called to testify, as Hayes chose to resign to avoid the threat.
