Peter Macdissi (born May 14, 1974; age 49) is a Lebanese actor and producer. He played one of Omar's henchmen during Season 4 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Peter Macdissi was born in Beirut, Lebanon. He is of Lebanese and Armenian heritage. Macdissi graduated from the Institut De Beaux Arts before moving to Europe. When he was 22 years old, he moved to the United States, and enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in Los Angeles. Macdissi speaks French, Spanish, Arabic, Armenian, and Swedish.

Through his acting career, Macdissi has appeared in TV shows like JAG (with Steven Culp and Manu Intiraymi), The X-Files, and Line of Fire (with Leslie Hope and Brian Goodman). However, he is more known for his role as art teacher Olivier Castro-Staal in HBO's Six Feet Under. For this role, he won a Screen Actors Guild Award for an Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Aside of TV, Macdissi has appeared in feature films like Three Kings (with Mykelti Williamson), Bad Company (with Adoni Maropis), Towelhead, and The Losers. Since 2010, he has been focusing mostly on his career as a producer.
