Phedra Syndelle (born October 18, 1986; age 37) is a stunt performer and actress that doubled for Anna Diop during 24: Legacy.
Biography and career
Phedra Syndelle was born in Houston, Texas. At the age of 7, she expressed interest in singing and acting, and started training in Theatre. Syndelle attended the University of Houston, where she completed a Bachelor's degree in Television/Radio, with a minor degree in Dance. After working the theatre scene, she decided to move to Los Angeles, California in 2012.
Through her career, Syndelle has maintained a balance between acting and stunt performing. She has had roles in TV shows like Scorpion (with Hakeem Kae-Kazim), Bosch (with Sarah Clarke and Steven Culp), and Snowfall (with Mark Rolston). Syndelle has also appeared in films like Straight Outta Compton (with Corey Hawkins) and The Preacher's Son.
As a stunt performer, Syndelle has worked on several films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War. She has also doubled for actresses like Brandy Norwood, Tiffany Haddish, Alfre Woodard, and Christina Elmore, among others.
