Phillip Rhys (born June 14, 1974; age 50) played Reza Naiyeer during Season 2 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Phillip Rhys was born in Upper Norwood, South London, the second of three sons. He graduated from Westminster College, and then spent a year living and working in Paris. He returned to London to study acting with Marianna Hill at the Lee Strasberg Institute, and later with Jeffrey Tambor and Milton Katselas at the Beverly Hills Playhouse in Los Angeles.
Along with some secondary roles in television and film, Rhys is well known to television audiences for his recurring guest role on Nip/Tuck, where he worked with Kate Mara and Vincent Angell. He has also had recurring roles on Survivors and one of the main roles on Flatland alongside Dennis Hopper. Other series in which he has acted are Undressed (with Eyal Podell), Shark (with Michael Cavanaugh and Nicholas Guest), and Eyes (with Richard Burgi).
Rhys debuted in the 1997 film The Others. After that, he has acted in films like Punks (with Michael Holden and Rudolf Martin), Farewell, My Love (with Gabrielle Fitzpatrick and Sarah Wynter), and Fathers and Sons (with Reiko Aylesworth).
