You may be looking for another R. Gunter.

R. Gunter was an LAPD officer on duty during Day 5.

Day 5[edit | edit source]

Officer Gunter and his partner were on patrol when President Charles Logan imposed a curfew on Los Angeles and restraining civilians on the streets. They noticed that two men were fighting on the street and pulled over their police vehicle to intervene. Unbeknownst to them, this was a ruse staged by terrorist Vladimir Bierko in order to travel unimpeded through the curfew by acquiring a police escort. Gunter and his partner were ambushed by Bierko's separatists who strangled Gunter's partner and shot Gunter, killing them both. Bierko's men then took the officers' clothes, weapons and car, and drove straight to their intended target Wilshire Gas Company.

Background information and notes[edit | edit source]

  • This character's name is visible on his uniform that is taken and worn by one of Bierko's men. It is only visible as Bierko's man stands sentry outside the Wilshire Gas Company (in this picture).
  • The character shares the name with another Metro PD officer. They are both named after property master Randy Gunter.
