Ramon Garcia was one of the worried citizens who tried to escape Los Angeles after the detonation of a nuclear bomb during Day 2. He was fleeing with his pregnant wife Lucia Garcia.

Day 2[]

Ramon's brother worked at a USGS station in Palmdale and gave him advance warning after the detonation of a nuclear weapon in the Mojave Desert. Fearing more terrorist action following the explosion, Garcia took his wife and fled Los Angeles to the mountains. He tried to enter a convenience store to purchase supplies on the way. Store owner Frank Davies refused to let him enter, so Garcia threw a shopping cart through the glass window and began to beat Davies. Kim Bauer, who had been using the bathroom, pulled out a gun but Garcia took it from her. Instead of causing more immediate harm, he grabbed the items and, claiming he wasn't a thief, demanded to pay for them.

Ramon made Frank and Kim watch a news report informing the public of the blast in the desert. When Deputies Nirman and Raynes arrived with a police force, Davies tried to wrestle the revolver from Garcia but was accidentally shot. ("11:00pm-12:00am")

Garcia became panicked and refused to come out. He held Kim hostage and waited until his wife was driven to Monterey, to be safe from more bombs. Kim escaped out the back, and after a time, Deputy Raynes sent in the officers. He was shot and carried out by the medical team. ("12:00am-1:00am")
