Randy Murdoch

Randy Murdoch was an agent brought in from CTU San Diego to aid with the search for the nuclear bomb. He analyzed a burnt fragment that was found on Syed Ali's clothing after a decoy was burned to death to distract CTU agents from finding Ali. Through a paper fiber analysis, Murdoch was able to find, at first, the number N34, and later, N34G5, which was cross referenced to be a tail number to a plane at Norton Airfield.
