Rao was Aditya Singhania's uncle.
On Day 1, Rao was present at the rally and memorial for Pratap Singhania at Sambhaji Park. Vikrant Maurya spoke to him around 3:45pm, before leaving to speak to Mr Kapoor. ("3:00pm-4:00pm")
