Raymond Cruz (born July 9, 1961; age 62) portrayed Rouse during Season 2 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Raymond Cruz was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in East LA. He is of Mexican ancestry. Cruz attended East Los Angeles College, and despite being surrounded by gang activity in his family and neighborhood, he managed to stay away from it. From an early age, Cruz developed an interest in American literature, and subsequently in theater.

Through his career, Cruz has appeared in numerous TV shows like China Beach (with Jeff Kober), The X-Files, and NYPD Blue (with Ricky Schroder). However, he is more known for his regular role in The Closer, and its spin-off Major Crimes, as well as his recurring role in Breaking Bad (with Dean Norris), and its spin-off Better Call Saul.

Cruz has also had roles in well-known films like Collateral Damage (with Harry Lennix, Michael Cavanaugh, Greg Collins, Don Fischer and Norm Compton), Training Day (with Harris Yulin, Nick Chinlund, and Jaime Gomez), Alien Resurrection (with Leland Orser and Michael Wincott), The Rock (with Gregory Sporleder and Tony Todd), The Substitute (with Vincent Laresca), Broken Arrow (with Bob Gunton), Clear and Present Danger (with Yulin, Joaquim de Almeida and Benjamin Bratt), and Under Siege (with Glenn Morshower).
