Richard Marrero (born August 20, 1981; age 43) is a Puerto Rican stunt performer and actor who portrayed a jihadi in 24: Legacy.
Biography and career[]
Marrero was born in Puerto Rico. Since 2003, he has been working steadily in Hollywood as a stunt performer and driver. His first work was as a precision driver in 2 Fast 2 Furious. After that, he has worked on films like Transporter 2, Miami Vice, and Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Marrero has also worked on shows like Homeland, Burn Notice, Banshee, and the new version of MacGyver. He has also been working on AMC's hit show The Walking Dead since 2010.
Role on 24[]
Marrero appeared as a jihadi during several episodes of 24: Legacy. His character was among the terrorists who attacked the housing project to kidnap Nicole Carter and Isaac Carter during "Day 10: 5:00pm-6:00pm". He opened fired on Isaac's gang members with a heavy machine gun to hold them back and killed two of them with it. Then he went back to the van and got away. His official resume also states that he worked on episodes "Day 10: 6:00pm-7:00pm" and "Day 10: 7:00pm-8:00pm".
