Richard Roat (February 1, 1933 – August 5, 2022; age 89) played Robert during Season 7 of 24.
Biography and career[]
Roat started his acting career in 1962, appearing in the TV series Car 54, Where Are You?. After that, he has appeared in numerous TV shows. Some of the ones he has worked on are Columbo, Kojak, Hill Street Blues, Baywatch, Seinfeld, and Cold Case (with Aynsley Bubbico).
Aside of TV shows, Roat appeared in films like March (with Rena Sofer), California Myth (with John Posey), Heart and Souls (with Tom Sizemore), Murder by Numbers (with Bobby Hosea), House Made of Dawn, Corvette Summer, American Hot Wax, Westworld, and Babo 73. Roat also performed in theatre and had written a series of books titled Hollywood's Made To Order Punks
Roat died of heart attack on August 5, 2022 in Orange Country, California.
