Richard Schimmelpfenneg (born December 2, 1968; age 55) is a character actor who was featured in multiple uncredited roles on 24. During Season 7, he portrayed an FBI police officer and a Starkwood mercenary.

Biography and career[]

Richard Schimmelpfenneg was born in Dearborn, Michigan. He is the third of four siblings. Since childhood, Schimmelpfenneg developed an interest in hockey, and later in baseball and football. He attended Henry Ford II High School, and later studied Architectural Drafting and Design. Schimmelpfenneg then worked in the home development and construction industry.

In 1994, during a trip to Las Vegas, Schimmelpfenneg worked as an extra in a casino set, and instantly developed an interest in acting. He moved to Los Angeles and started working on TV and films, becoming a member of the Screen Actors Guild in 2008. Schimmelpfenneg has worked on TV shows, films, and commercials.
