Robert Rusler (born September 20, 1965; age 55) played Hank during Season 5 of 24.

Biography and career[edit | edit source]

Robert Rusler was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Shortly after, he moved to Waikiki Beach, Hawaii. As he grew up, he started surfing and skateboarding semi-professionally. Then his family moved again, this time to Los Angeles. There, he started practicing martial arts.

After high school, Rusler began taking acting classes at the Loft Studio. His first acting job was in 1985 on The Facts of Life. After that, he had recurring appearances in the shows The Outsiders and Babylon 5. He has also appeared in shows like Star Trek: Enterprise (with John Billingsley), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), The Closer (with Raymond Cruz), and The Unit (with Dennis Haysbert and Max Martini).

Rusler is also known for his performance as Grady in the movie A Nightmare on Elm on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge. He has also starred in the films Weird Science, Delivered, and Trashin'.

Role on 24[edit | edit source]

Rusler played the role of Hank during Season 5 of 24. Hank was a hitman sent by Walt Cummings to kill Jack Bauer. Rusler appeared in one episode and was credited as a guest star.
