Biography and career Edit

Roshawn Franklin was born in Forrest City, Arkansas to Gwendolyn Franklin. Being single, she decided to move with her sister to Pomona, California. Still, Franklin found himself being involved with gangs. Fortunately, a fifth grade teacher got him involved in acting, and Franklin decided to change his path to be an actor.

Franklin began his acting career in 2000, with an uncredited role in the film Love & Basketball (with Dennis Haysbert and Harry Lennix). After that, he starred in films like S.W.A.T. (with Domenick Lombardozzi and Denis Arndt), Spin, and Chaos.

Franklin has also appeared on several shows such as NCIS (with Pauley Perrette and Graham McTavish), NCIS: Los Angeles (with Enuka Okuma and Anthony Azizi), and NYPD Blue (with Currie Graham).
