Ross is a middle-aged man who was at the hotel bar that Chloe O'Brian is forced to work at during Day 5. Ross becomes interested in Chloe. He approaches her, but Chloe, in her normal way, keeps the conversation short and gets Ross to walk away. Later, he approaches Chloe again. He wants to buy her a drink. He notices that she is using a labtop. He tells Chloe that he can steal some bandwidth for her. Chloe, who is very annoyed, looks up and says sure. When he sits down, Chloe tazers him and he passes out. As he is waking up, Chloe tazers him again.
