A Ruger Mini-14
The Ruger Mini-14 was a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .233 Remington. It was originally designed for hunting, but later proved popular among law enforcement groups as well. The Mini-14 was extremely light, owing to its carbon-fiber stock, but still offered considerable firepower.
CTU Los Angeles field teams occasionally used the Mini-14 on certain missions. (24: The Ultimate Guide)
During Day 4, a Mini-14 was on display in Safa and Naji's sporting goods store. Jack Bauer appropriated the rifle for himself, later using it during a firefight with commandos sent by McLennen-Forster. ("Day 4: 7:00pm-8:00pm")

Background information and notes[]
- 24: The Ultimate Guide states that the Mini-14 is part of CTU's field arsenal, and includes a photograph of one in the weapons rack of a CTU SUV. However, the gun only appears once, in the above-mentioned scene in "Day 4: 7:00pm-8:00pm", throughout the whole series.
