Rumi was a poet that Omar Hassan quoted.

Omar Hassan was knowledgeable of Rumi phrases and was fond of a particular one with regards to the work he was doing with President Allison Taylor in the form of their peace treaty. The saying was:

The Rumi inscription on the pen box

All religions, all this singing. One song. Peace be with you.

He had the quote inscribed on a box in which Hassan put a pen that he planned to give to Taylor just before the signing of the treaty. After his death, Dalia Hassan gave the President the pen and box instead.
