Sala Baker (born September 22, 1976; age 47) is a stunt performer who has appeared on 24 as one of Abu Fayed's guards.
Biography and career[]
Sala is a prolific stuntman from New Zealand, who is notable for his portrayal of Sauron, as well as two major orc characters, in the Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Also appearing in the trilogy were Sean Astin and John Noble.
Aside from that, Baker has also worked on other films like Deadpool 2, Star Trek, Captain America: Civil War, Battleship, and Iron Man 3. He has also worked stunts on TV shows like The Mentalist, True Blood, and Mayans M.C.
Role on 24[]
Baker appeared during Season 6. In Day 6: 10:00pm-11:00pm, he played one of Abu Fayed's terrorists who greeted Fayed at his warehouse when he arrived in the refuse truck. He then followed Fayed to the bomb, and defended it when Jack Bauer started shooting. He was the second terrorist to be shot by Jack.
