Biography and career[]
Sammy Sanders was born in Pomona, California. He developed an interest in the arts from an early age, becoming interested in drawing, painting, and music. Because of this, Sanders was picked on at school, which led him to practice martial arts as well. In 1997, he attended Riverside Community College to study Industrial Electronics Technology.
During his second year of college, Sanders joined the US Navy. After five years of service, he returned to the US and started working as a Veteran Representative for the California Employment Development Department. In 2009, Sanders studied Psychology at De Anza College, while working as a Substitute Teacher. In 2012, he started working as a Site Sueprvisor for LinkedIn.
In 2015, Sanders decided to pursue a career in acting. He has worked on films like Logan Lucky and Life of the Party (with Stephen Root). Sanders has also worked as a stand-in on films like The Hate U Give and Den of Thieves.
