Samuel Campbell was the youngest son of CTU agent Seth Campbell and his wife Judy Campbell.
After Seth Campbell was imprisoned for accepting bribes, Judy's mental state deteriorated from the pressure of raising their four children alone, and she eventually hanged herself. Samuel was five years old at the time.
