Sandrine Holt (born November 19, 1972; age 51) played Evelyn Martin, personal aide to First Lady Martha Logan, during Season 5 of 24.

Biography

Sandrine Holt was born in London England to a Chinese father and a French mother. At the age of five, she moved to Toronto, Ontario, in Canada, which has been her home ever since. Holt attended St. Joseph's Morrow Park Catholic Secondary School in Willowdale. She also worked as a runway model in Paris before she became an actress.

Holt debuted as an actress in 1991, appearing in Black Robe by Bruce Beresford. She's played characters of various ethnic origins. She starred as a Polynesian in Rapa Nui (1994); as Chinese in the telemovie and subsequent TV show Once a Thief (by John Woo, based on his Once a Thief Hong Kong movie); and as a Latina reporter in 2004's Resident Evil: Apocalypse alongside Thomas Kretschmann. Holt later had recurring roles on NBC's Las Vegas and Showtime's The L Word (with Mia Kirshner). Guest-appearances on CSI: Miami (with Christina Chang) and ER soon followed.

In 2011, Holt guest-starred on the SyFy Channel series Sanctuary (with Peter Wingfield and Carlo Rota), and had a recurring role on the CBS limited series Hostages with Tate Donovan and Rhys Coiro. She also had a recurring role on House of Cards.
