This article lists all the real-life shooting locations for the fourth season of 24. A scene shot "on location" refers to any filming that took place outside of the main studio set section of the production headquarters building at 21050 Lassen Street in Chatsworth. Studio set locations are listed at the bottom of the page.
This season was filmed entirely in the Los Angeles area.

Santa Clarita train
The train that gets bombed was a passenger train on the Fillmore & Western trainline, on the tracks just east of the Fish Hatchery Road crossing.
Sherek on the phone
When Tomas Sherek speaks to Navi Araz on the phone, he is walking outside the entrance of Union Station, at 800 North Alameda Street in Downtown LA.
Andrew Paige's workplace
The interior and exterior Andrew Paige's place of work was filmed at The Unique Space at 1275 East Sixth Street in Downtown Los Angeles, which had been dressed as a graphic design studio.
Heller's hotel
The Westmore Hotel that Jack, Audrey and Heller stay at is the Warner Center Marriott hotel in Woodland Hills, used later as Paul Raines's hotel.
Cafe
The cafe across the street from Andrew Paige's studio, where he called Chloe O'Brian from, was also shot at The Unique Space at 1275 East Sixth Street, in an area that had been dressed as a cafe.
Freeway
There is a shot of Heller's limousine driving northeast on N Los Angeles Street in Downtown LA, driving on the bridge over the 101 Freeway.
Air Force One
The scenes on board Air Force One were shot an Air Force One set used for The West Wing. It was built in an old airplane fuselage stored in a Warner Bros. warehouse located at 28220 Industry Drive in Valencia.
Landstrass Cleaners
Maurice Landstrass's cleaning company was filmed at Sooz & Son Cleaners located at 21314 Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills.
Richard Heller's house
The scenes at Richard Heller's house were filmed at 7343 Remmet Avenue, in Canoga Park (not Van Nuys as is stated later).

Warehouse
The warehouse where James Heller and Audrey Raines's kidnappers switched vans was filmed in the corner of 28220 Industry Drive in Valencia, where the Air Force One set was located.
Air Force One
The scenes on board Air Force One were again shot at The West Wing set located at 28220 Industry Drive in Valencia.
Andrew on bike
As Andrew Paige is on his bike speaking to his mother, he is under the 6th Street Bridge turning south onto Mesquit Street, past the area where the trade of Michelle Dessler and Jane Saunders happened last season. The building, bridge and this area have since all been demolished.
Union Station
The scenes at the station were filmed at the real Union Station at 800 North Alameda Street in Downtown Los Angeles.
Omar's compound
All of the scenes at Omar's compound, where the Hellers were held captive, were filmed at the Barlow-Saxton bunkers at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, Los Angeles. The van drives in off Barlow-Saxton road, and Behrooz also parks on the same road when he hands over the briefcase. The only exception is the broadcast video of Heller at the end of the episode, which was shot on stage.
Road
There is an establishing shot of Jack Bauer and Ronnie Lobell driving to the station which shows their car driving northeast on Los Angeles Street on the bridge over the Santa Ana Freeway, the same bridge seen last episode.
Pursuing Kalil
After Jack leaves the station in pursuit of Kalil Hasan, there is an internal shot of his car driving south down Alameda Street, past the intersection with 8th Street. After the last split screen, there is another shot of Jack further down the road.

Freeway
We see Kalil Hasan driving west on the 118 Freeway, in the Pacoima area. There is then an interior shot of his rearview mirror, and there is a sign for the 405, located much further west (and Kalil is now driving east). It then cuts back to the outside of his car, and he swerves to take the turnoff for Glenoaks Boulevard. Jack misses the turning, but drives down the entry lane to the freeway onto Glenoaks. He follows Kalil north, before turning right into Eustace Street.
Air Force One
The first Air Force One scene in this episode, set in the conference room, was filmed on the main 24 stage; however the second scene, in Keeler's office, was shot back at The West Wing Air Force One set at 28220 Industry Drive in Valencia.
Milemarker 31
Kalil stops his car off De Soto Avenue, under the 118 Freeway, to interrogate Andrew Paige. After he sets off again, he travels south down De Soto, and Jack pursues him past the intersection with Rinaldi Street.
Omar's compound
Again the scenes at Omar's compound were filmed at the Barlow-Saxton bunkers at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro.
Mercury Mart
The Mercury Mart in Somis was actually the Gallion's Corner shop at 31515 Ridge Route Road in Castaic, North of Los Angeles.

Mercury Mart
The Mercury Mart scenes were filmed at the Gallion's Corner shop at 31515 Ridge Route Road in Castaic, North of Los Angeles. When Jack leaves, he drives north on Ridge Route Road.
Omar's compound
The interiors of the Omar compound were filmed at the Barlow-Saxton bunkers at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro.
East on Route 11
When the police report that Jack has driven east on Route 11, we see him driving east on Lake Hughes Road, just past the intersection with Ridge Route Road. He speaks to Kalil in the car before making him pull over just before the bridge over Lake Hughes. Jack drives over the bridge, and Kalil flags down a car and drives off too.
Jack stopped
Jack is stopped by police on Soledad Canyon Road near Acton, by the junction with Crown Valley Road.

Police roadblock
Again the scenes of the police roadblock were filmed on Soledad Canyon Road near Acton.
Junction
The junction where Kalil Hasan stops and is assailed by the three men was filmed at the intersection of Iverson Road and Santa Susana Pass Road in Chatsworth. Jack parks in the lot just up the road to observe the events that take place.
Truck crash
The location where Kalil Hasan martyrs himself by driving his car into a truck was again shot on Soledad Canyon Road, a little further east towards Acton (despite CTU saying he was traveling west).
Omar's compound
Again the interiors and exteriors of the Omar compound were filmed at the Barlow-Saxton bunkers at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, with the exception of the holding room where James Heller and Audrey Raines were kept in.
Jack driving
The final shot of Jack driving in this episode shows him driving south on Soledad Canyon Road.

Freeway
On the way to Felsted Security, Jack and Audrey's car drives east on the 118 Freeway, past the turnoff for De Soto Avenue. This is the same section of the freeway where Andrew Paige was beaten up.
There is an establishing shot of Navi and Dina Araz driving to pick up Behrooz, and they are driving from Mason Avenue, before turning west onto Devonshire street past the Panda Express restaurant.
Restaurant
The restaurant where Habib Marwan plans his operations was located at around 14150 Ventura Boulevard, next to Sherman Oaks Billiards. Navi Araz parked on the alley behind the building and went in the back way. The interiors were also shot here. This building has since been demolished.
Chasing Behrooz
Behrooz Araz is waiting on Old Depot Plaza Road in Chatsworth, before Dina picks him up. She then drives away south down the road, as Navi and his men chase them via the parallel Brown's Creek Bike Path. When they hit Lassen Street, Dina manages to get away.
When Navi Araz stops to meet up with Ravi and another henchman, he drives off Devonshire Street and onto Brown's Creek Bike Path. He passes America's Best Chatsworth Karate.
Felsted Security
The scenes at Felsted Security were filmed in the 24 production offices at 21050 Lassen Street in Chatsworth, also the location of the main studio and CTU set. The writers acted out several scenes in the corridors while writing this episode.

Restaurant
Again the interiors of Habib Marwan's restaurant were shot at around 14150 Ventura Boulevard, although building has since been demolished.
Powell's office
The scene of Henry Powell leaving his office was shot at the Mann Biomedical Center in Valencia. He walks out of the Advanced Bionics building and down the walkway to the parking lot.
Tony's house
The exterior of 21048 Kipling, the home of Tony Almeida, was filmed at 21048 Lull Street in Canoga Park. The interior was built on stage.
Emergency room
The scenes of Behrooz and Dina Araz at the emergency room were shot at the Granada Hills Community Hospital at 10445 Balboa Boulevard in Granada Hills. The hospital closed in 2003, and in 2007 it was demolished and replaced with the Valley Academy of Arts and Science.
CTU exterior
The scenes outside CTU were shot at a building around 20500 Nordhoff Street in Chatsworth, not far from the CTU soundstage.
Larchmont building
The Larchmont building, where Henry Powell attempts to leave in a helicopter, was also filmed at the Mann Biomedical Center in Valencia, near where the scene of Powell's office was shot.

Again the scenes here were filmed at the helipad of the Mann Biomedical Center in Valencia.
Hotel
The hotel that Dina and Behrooz Araz stay in, was the Radisson Hotel in Chatsworth (as stated by in-universe dialogue).
San Gabriel Island news reports
All of the news footage of the San Gabriel Island power plant actually shows the Salem Nuclear Power Plant in New Jersey.
Lindauer hospital
The scenes at Lindauer Memorial Hospital were filmed at the closed St. Luke Medical Center at 2632 East Washington Boulevard, in Pasadena, which has doubled for many different hospitals in 24. Jack arrives from the east.
When Navi Araz is speaking on the phone to Naseem, he is walking west on Lassen Street just past the studio building at 21050.
San Gabriel plant
The footage of the San Gabriel Island nuclear power station in the final split screen was stock footage of the Grohnde nuclear power plant in Lower Saxony, Germany.
4:00pm-5:00pm
Restaurant
Again the interiors of Habib Marwan's restaurant were shot at around 14150 Ventura Boulevard, although building has since been demolished.
24878 Alvert Street
As Jack and Tony drive to 24878 Alvert Street, we see them drive into the St. Luke Medical Center from Washington Boulevard (the same entrance they drove in last episode for the hospital). They then investigate a building to the south of the hospital.
Westmore Hotel
The entrance of the Westmore Hotel, as Audrey enters to see Paul Raines, was shot at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills.
Jack driving
There is a shot of Jack driving towards Paul's hotel, and he drives south on De Soto Avenue next to the 118 Freeway.
5:00pm-6:00pm
Rockland Building
The scenes at the Rockland Building were filmed at a disused office block at 1100 Wilshire Boulevard, which previously was used as MI6 headquarters in Season 3.
Staging area
The staging area, stated to be at "Wilshire and Grand", is actually a parking garage located between 7th and 8th Street.
Nuclear plant
During the third act-in clock, and later when Edgar Stiles is working to stop the Dobson Override, there is stock footage of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In 1979, this plant suffered a partial meltdown in real life.
6:00pm-7:00pm
Rockland building
The lobby of the Rockland Building was again shot at 1100 Wilshire.
Marwan boards bus
Marwan catches a bus on Ingraham Street, right next to 1100 Wilshire where the Rockland Building was located. Once he gets on, it cuts to an interior shot of the bus driving north up Lucas Avenue just after Wilshire Boulevard.
McLennen-Forster
The scenes at McLennen-Forster were shot at a Fox Sports West office building at 31749 La Tienda Road in Westlake village. In 2009 the building became the Oaks Christian Middle School.
Downtown LA
In the third act-in clock, there is a shot of Downtown Los Angeles taken from the 1100 Wilshire building looking south. The ARCO tower is in the foreground, and the 801 Tower and TCW Tower are in the background. When the EMP goes off, a similar shot is shown, but has been mirrored horizontally. The lights in the towers are turned off using digital effects.
Alley
The alley where Habib Marwan meets Yosik Khatami was outside the CTU studio, in an alley leading to Variel Avenue.
Restaurant
In the split screen at the end of the episode, Habib Marwan is seen walking past Sherman Oaks Billiards towards the restaurant at around 14150 Ventura Boulevard. Again, this building has since been demolished.
Erin driving
In the final split screen of the episode there is a also a shot of Erin Driscoll driving away from CTU, traveling south down Topanga Canyon Boulevard past the 76 gas station (which is now a Chevron) and Togo's sandwich shop (now a Jersey Mike's Subs).

Restaurant
Marwan enters the restaurant at 14150 Ventura Boulevard again, and the exteriors and interiors are used for filming. The building has since been demolished.
McLennen-Forster
Again the scenes at McLennen-Forster were shot at the old Fox Sports West building in Westlake village. The commandos arrive at the rear of the building, which has since been redesigned and the parking lot replaced with tennis courts when the building was bought by Oaks Christian School.
Sporting goods store
The scenes at the sporting goods store were shot on the Paramount backlot. Parts of the New York Street section of the backlot are visible as Jack and Paul enter.
8:00pm-9:00pm
Downtown Los Angeles
The opening shot of the episode shows Jack Bauer's helicopter flying west over Downtown Los Angeles, past the One Wilshire and 611 Place towers. The lights in the buildings have been digitally removed.
CTU exterior
The scenes outside CTU were shot at a building around 20500 Nordhoff Street in Chatsworth, not far from the CTU soundstage.
Back alley
The back alley where Mitch Anderson meets Habib Marwan was filmed east of Downtown, at around 590 Santa Fe Avenue. The 4th Street Bridge can be seen in the distance.
Fayed's house
Joseph Fayed's house was filmed at 10501 Willowbrae Avenue in Chatsworth. Jack and Dina drive from San Jose street and park opposite the house.
Fayed driving
When we first see Joseph Fayed being tailed by agent Baron, they are driving north on Tampa Avenue in Northridge, past Pier 1 Imports.
Tunnel
The tunnel where Dina and Jack are grabbed from the car was the Sherman Way tunnel under Van Nuys Airport runway.
Pursuing Fayed
As agent Baron leaves the tunnel in pursuit of Joseph Fayed, he drives west down Devonshire street past the Carrows restaurant at 20557.
Sixth Street Bridge
Joseph Fayed parks his car just past the 6th Street Bridge and detonates it.
Warehouse
The scene at the end of the episode of Jack Bauer being brought to Habib Marwan and Dina Araz getting killed was shot inside 590 South Santa Fe Avenue, the building that Marwan was outside earlier in the episode.
Hangar
The scene as Mitch Anderson enters the hangar at the end of the episode was shot at Van Nuys Airport, in a hangar on the west side of the airport belonging to the Thornton Aircraft Company.

Van driving
At the beginning of the episode there is a shot of Habib Marwan's van driving west on Nordhoff Street, past the Sears Auto center.
Hangar
Again the scenes of Mitch Anderson in the hangar were shot at Van Nuys Airport.
Marwan's warehouse
The scenes in Marwan's warehouse where Jack was held prisoner were shot at 2301 E 7th Street in Boyle Heights.
Union Conduit Dam
The hostage trade on the dam was filmed on top of the Sepulveda Dam, just off Ventura Freeway. The dam was also used as a location in Season 1 and 6.
Driving to dam
Just after the fourth act-in clock, there is a shot of Abdullah's van driving north on Nordhoff Way, with the old Levitz furniture store visible in the background.
Runway
At the end of the episode, there is stock footage of Mitch Anderson's plane preparing for take off, which shows an F-117 Nighthawk exiting a hangar at Tonopah Test Range Airport in Nevada.

Marwan's warehouse
The exterior scenes at Marwan's warehouse were shot at a building on Sunrise Street in Boyle Heights. The building was used as Alex Hewitt's rooftop in Season 2 and James Nathanson's meeting place in Season 5, and has since been painted red. Jack and the team drive south down Clarence Street under Whittier Boulevard, before smashing into the doors of the building.
Runway
Again there is stock footage of an F-117 Nighthawk at Tonopah Test Range Airport, taking off.
Alley
The alley where Marwan is picked up in a van was shot at the car park outside the Hansen Research Corporation at 9810 Variel Avenue, just across the street from the CTU studio.
11:00pm-12:00am
Washington, D.C.
An establishing shot of Washington, D.C. shows the Capitol building viewed from the east, with Constitution avenue to the right.
Mojave desert
The scenes set in the Mojave Desert, at the Air Force One crash site and outside the power station, were shot at the Polsa Rosa Ranch, on the Santa Clara River. At the end of the episode, Marwan's jeeps cross the bridge over the river heading north.
White House
There is an establishing shot of the south side of the White House, which is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.
Downtown Los Angeles
As Jack is flying towards the crash site of Air Force One, there is a shot of his helicopter flying over Downtown Los Angeles, past the intersection of 5th Street and Flower.
Power plant
The doorway and interior scenes at the power plant where Jason and Kelly Girard hide were shot at the AES facility in Redondo Beach.
Power plant exterior structures
The structures outside the power plant where Jack Bauer has a standoff with Abdul Mahnesh were shot at the Cemex mine on Soledad Canyon Road. The structures have since been torn down.

Outside power plant
The scene of Jack Bauer and Fred Laughton was shot outside the door of the power plant from the last episode, at the AES Redondo Beach plant.
Marwan planning
There is a short scene of Habib Marwan and Hikmat Palpatine planning to capture a nuke by the jeep from the last episode, shot near the bridge at Polsa Rosa from last episode.
Helicopter flying
There is a shot of Jack's helicopter flying over Downtown LA, similar to the shot from "8:00pm-9:00pm" except it has been flipped horizontally. The helicopter is flying southwest with the Convention Center in the distance.
Marina
Yosik Khatami meets Joe Prado next to Burton Chace Park in the Marina Del Rey. Curtis and his team park at the end of Mindanao Way and sneak through the park to watch the meeting.
Iowa
The scenes in Iowa, of the nuclear warhead getting captured and driven away by Sabir Ardakani and his men, were shot at Pierce College campus in Woodland Hills.
The Hub
The scenes at The Hub were filmed at the 333 Live nightclub on the corner of 4th Street and Boylston Street, northwest of Downtown (not "east of Downtown" as stated by Joe Prado). Marwan looks south towards the LA skyline before entering the club.
CTU exterior
The scenes outside CTU were shot at a building around 20500 Nordhoff Street in Chatsworth, not far from the CTU soundstage.
1:00am-2:00am
Barn
The Iowa barn where Robert Morrison takes possession of the nuclear warhead was on the Pierce College campus in Woodland Hills. This is the same barn Nina Myers broke into after being shot by Jack in Season 1.
The Hub
Again, scenes at The Hub were filmed at 333 Live, northwest of Downtown. The staging area is a car park just south of the building.
1482 Franklin
The scenes on the street outside 1482 Franklin, as well as the scenes inside the house, were filmed at Downey Studios, located at 12214 Lakewood Boulevard in Downey. The street was a practical locations area built for the film Christmas with the Kranks, and the houses are all fake and used for filming. Since the filming here, the street has been knocked down.

White House
There is another establishing shot of the White House, this time the north side, located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.
1482 Franklin
Again the scenes on the street outside of 1482 Franklin were filmed at the practical locations area of Downey Studios.
Chinese consulate
The scenes at the Chinese consulate were shot at Ebell of Los Angeles, a woman's club located at 743 S Lucerne Boulevard, just off Wilshire Blvd in Mid-City Los Angeles.
3:00am-4:00am
Marwan's factory
The interiors of Marwan's "factory on 6th and Alameda" were shot at 590 Santa Fe Avenue, seen earlier this season as a different hideout of Marwan's. The building has since been demolished.
Iowa
The scenes of the missile launch in Iowa were shot next to the goat barn at Pierce College in Woodland Hills.
Chinese consulate
Again the Chinese consulate scenes were filmed at Ebell of Los Angeles at 743 S Lucerne Boulevard.
Factory exterior
The exterior of Jack and Curtis infiltrating Marwan's factory was shot outside the 24 studio on 21050 Lassen Street.

Again the interiors of Marwan's factory were shot at 590 Santa Fe Avenue. The north exterior of the building is seen in this episode as Marwan escapes.

The scenes at The Mercerwood were filmed at Canyon Crest Apartments, located at 23639 Newhall Avenue in Newhall, Santa Clarita.

The Global Center
The scenes at the Global Center were actually filmed at the Grand Avenue Garage at 240 Venice Boulevard. Marwan falls to the street on Venice. The helipad that Marwan is trying to take off from has since been redesigned as the Robert F. Maguire Heliport.
Downtown LA
There is a shot of the Air Force jets flying past the Figueroa at Wilshire tower in Downtown LA.

The scenes outside CTU were shot at a building around 20500 Nordhoff Street in Chatsworth, not far from the CTU soundstage.
Trainyard
When Tony and Michelle drop Jack off at the trainyard, they park just off Lorna Vista Avenue in Vernon (the same place Ryan Chappelle was killed in Season 3). Jack walks into some pallets to speak to Palmer, then when he exits he is now across the river and walking northwest up the train tracks.
Studio sets
Starting with this season, the main production offices of 24 moved to 21050 Lassen Street in Chatsworth, an old Mitsubishi pencil factory. Joseph Hodges designed all new sets, including a completely redesigned CTU, as documented in the Breaking Ground: Building the New CTU feature. Production stayed at this location until Season 8.

Although the majority of the interior scenes at Omar's compound were shot on location, there were two small pieces shot on set: the first video of James Heller that was broadcast, and also Heller and Audrey's second holding room where they released the gas. Both the holding room and a small section of corridor was built to match the corridor on location.
