Studio sets[edit | edit source]

Starting with this season, the main production offices of 24 moved to 21050 Lassen Street in Chatsworth, an old Mitsubishi pencil factory. Joseph Hodges designed all new sets, including a completely redesigned CTU, as documented in the Breaking Ground: Building the New CTU feature. Production stayed at this location until Season 8.

CTU Los Angeles set[edit | edit source]

Episodes: All

A new remodelled CTU set was constructed in the new stage for this season.

Hotel set[edit | edit source]

Episodes: Prequel, "7:00am-8:00am", "1:00pm-2:00pm", "2:00pm-3:00pm"

The hotel room that Jack Bauer and Audrey Raines stayed in was constructed on stage. It was re-used for the CCTV footage of the Hyatt Hotel entrance hall that they reviewed in episodes 7 & 8.

Araz house set[edit | edit source]

Episodes: "7:00am-8:00am" through "1:00pm-2:00pm"

The interior of the Araz household was constructed on stage. The set consisted of a hallway with stairs, a kitchen, and a living room. All of the scenes at the Araz house were shot here, with the exception of some establishing shots and shots looking out of the front door or window in episodes 3 and 5. In the first three episodes, there was a window next to the front door, however this was removed after episode 4 for some reason.

Omar's compound set[edit | edit source]

Episodes: "8:00am-9:00am", "11:00am-12:00pm" and "12:00pm-1:00pm"

Although the majority of the interior scenes at Omar's compound were shot on location, there were two small pieces shot on set: the first video of James Heller that was broadcast, and also Heller and Audrey's second holding room where they released the gas. Both the holding room and a small section of corridor was built to match the corridor on location.

Air Force One set[edit | edit source]

Episodes: "9:00am-10:00am", "11:00am-12:00pm" through "3:00pm-4:00pm", "5:00pm-6:00pm", "6:00pm-7:00pm", "8:00pm-9:00pm", "10:00pm-11:00pm"

Reiss's office set[edit | edit source]

Episode: "12:00pm-1:00pm"

John Reiss's office at McLennen-Forster was built on set for his videoconference with CTU.

Tony's house set[edit | edit source]

Episode: "2:00pm-3:00pm"

DoD set[edit | edit source]

Episode: "2:00pm-3:00pm"

The Department of Defense office where Marcy is working was constructed on stage.

Farah apartment set[edit | edit source]

Episode: "3:00pm-4:00pm"

Farah's apartment was shot on the set previously used for Tony's house. It has been slightly redressed, and an apartment corridor built outside the door.

Power plant set[edit | edit source]

Episode: "3:00pm-4:00pm"

The control room of the San Gabriel Island nuclear plant was built as a set.

Stiles house set[edit | edit source]

Episode: "3:00pm-4:00pm"

Lucy Stiles's home was constructed on stage.

Basement set[edit | edit source]
