Serbia — a European country in the Balkans — was among the nations listed in the CTU Operations Manual. One of its intelligence agencies, Bezbednosno-Informativna Agencija, was also listed.
Around the time of Day 1, Serbia was part of the country of Yugoslavia. It contained the autonomous provinces of Vojvodina and Kosovo, the location of Operation Nightfall. Later Serbia, along with Montenegro, became separate countries. ("Day 9: 2:00pm-3:00pm")
