This article's subject relates to Season 5 of 24.

Sergei Voronov was a commander in the Dawn Brigade resistance movement within Russia.

Day 5[edit | edit source]

Voronov was a mutual associate of software programmer Jacob Rossler and Dawn Brigade separatist Ivan Erwich, two men who had never met one another. He was Rossler's "friend in Moscow" who put him in contact with Erwich at around 1:10pm, because Erwich needed someone who could reconfigure the remote trigger for stolen Sentox VX nerve gas canisters.

Rossler identified Sergei Voronov to Jack Bauer, Curtis Manning, and other CTU agents (at approximately 1:43pm) when he was promised immunity and safe passage with his sex slave Inessa Kovalevsky.

Background information and notes[edit | edit source]

  • Nothing else was stated about Voronov. It is likely that the incriminating testimony against Voronov in Rossler's confession was relayed to Moscow, and that he was arrested in the aftermath of the day's events.
