Shawn Doyle (born September 18, 1968; age 53) is a Canadian actor who played the role of Ronnie Lobell in Season 4 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Shawn Doyle was born in Wabush, a small town in the province of Labrador in Canada. His father was founder of a local theatre group, so Doyle was exposed to acting from a young age. Later, he moved to Toronto to study theatre at York University.

Doyle is best known for his role in Frequency and Big Love (with Željko Ivanek). He has also appeared in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Desperate Housewives (with Ricardo Chavira), Blind Justice, and Lost (with Daniel Dae Kim). In March 2011, Doyle starred as the leading actor of Endgame (with Wendy Crewson), a Canadian drama series premiered by Showcase.

Early in his career, Doyle starred in the Canadian TV series The Eleventh Hour. He was nominated for two Gemini Awards and an ACTRA Toronto Award for his performance of Dennis Langley.
