Biography and career[]
Shelley Conn was born in London, England, to Anglo-Indian parents. She is of Sri Lankan descent. Conn attended Queen Mary's College in Basingstoke and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, and later trained at Bretton Hall.
Conn is perhaps best known in recent years for her role as Dr. Elizabeth Shannon on the FOX TV series Terra Nova, which was written by David Fury and Brannon Braga and directed by Jon Cassar, Bryan Spicer and Nelson McCormick. Before that, she appeared in shows like Mersey Beat. The Palace, and Marchlands. She was a regular on The Lottery and currently a series regular on Heartbeat.
Conn has also appeared on films like How Do You Know (with Domenick Lombardozzi and Dean Norris), New Town Killers, and Possession.
