Shipler was a staffer at CTU Los Angeles during Day 1 and Day 2.

Day 1[]

Shipler was present at CTU throughout the events of the day. He listened to George Mason explain the lockdown protocol and was summoned by an Internal Investigations agent for questioning regarding the whereabouts of Jack Bauer. ("3:00am-4:00am")

Day 2[]

When Jack Bauer returned to CTU, Shipler smiled in greeting at him. Later, he was in the corridors as Eddie Grant and his crew entered the building. ("8:00am-9:00am", "10:00am-11:00am")

Shipler then assisted the emergency teams with removing rubble and helping survivors of the bomb attack on CTU. ("11:00am-12:00pm").

To prepare for the interrogation of Nina Myers, Michelle Dessler ordered Laurie to have Bill bring up the video rack. Minutes later, Shipler and another staffer wheeled the video rack onto the main floor. Dessler told Shipler and the other staffer great job and asked them to have the equipment set up and ready to go. ("12:00pm-1:00pm")

Shipler observed George Mason vomiting in the bathroom, and told Michelle about it. Michelle surmised that George had radiation poisoning, and told Tony Almeida about what Shipler had seen to support her guess about Mason's health. ("4:00pm-5:00pm")

He was present when Tony Almeida briefed the floorplate after the nuclear bomb detonated. ("11:00pm-12:00am")
