Simran was a young woman who came into contact with Veer Singh Rathod during Day 1.

At around 4pm on Day 1, she went to the Root Lounge to wait for her brother Rahul. She was followed there by Hardik, but while at the bar she was approached by Veer who asked if she was alright. She explained the situation, and he invited her over to his table. He introduced her to his friends Ankit, Rizwan and Gautam who started to flirt with her, and she noticed that Hardik continued to watch her. ("4:00pm-5:00pm")

Just after 5pm, Hardik left, and Simran told Veer she had to get home. He offered to escort her home, and they got into an auto Rickshaw outside. They arrived back at her house to find the door broken and clothes scattered everywhere. As they went inside, Hardik and his accomplice Shashank jumped them and pulled them inside.

Shashank threatens Simran

Shashank pulled a knife on Simran and asked where her brother and the drugs were, but she told him she had not seen him since the night before. They told her they would not leave until they found the drugs, and Simran told them Veer was her boyfriend. A little later Veer asked her what was going on, and she told him that she knew her brother was upto something bad. He replied that they had to escape and go to the police. ("5:00pm-6:00pm")

The police arrive at Simran's house

Their captors continued to interrogate them about Rahul, as a buyer was on his way for the drugs. Veer came up with a plan to prepare false drugs for the buyer – as they prepared them, Veer and Simran attempted to escape but were stopped by Zahid, the buyer, arriving. As Zahid tested the drugs, Shashank and Hardik and held them at gunpoint. However, police then burst into the room and Zahid revealed that he was an undercover officer. He ordered them all arrested, and Simran was taken into custody. ("6:00pm-7:00pm")
