Spencer Garrett Heckenkamp (born September 19, 1963; age 60) played Ben Kram during Season 6 of 24.

Biography and career

Spencer Garrett was born in Los Angeles, California. His mother was an actress and his father was head of a talent agency. Garrett attended Duke and Fordham University before studying theater with acclaimed teacher Sanford Meisner.

Garrett began his acting career in 1989 with an appearance in the show American Playhouse. After that, he has appeared in numerous TV shows like Reasonable Doubts, M.A.N.T.I.S., The Practice (with Pat Healy), The X-Files (with Mark Rolston), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Carnivale (with Patrick Bauchau), NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), Leverage (with John Billingsley), Castle (with Stana Katic), and House of Cards (with Jayne Atkinson).

Garrett has also appeared on films like Air Force One (with Xander Berkeley, Timothy Carhart, Wendy Crewson, David Gianopoulos, Don McManus, Glenn Morshower, Jurgen Prochnow, Bill Smitrovich and Tom Everett), House of Sand and Fog (with Shohreh Aghdashloo, Jonathan Ahdout, and Navi Rawat), Yes Man, and Hitchcock (with Michael Wincott and Kurtwood Smith).
