St. Virgil's Hospital was a hospital in Los Angeles, California, located on 3rd Street.

During Day 2, after the bombing of CTU Los Angeles by Joseph Wald's group, many of the injured were rushed to St. Virgil's for treatment, including Megan Matheson, who suffered a convulsion due to prior injuries caused by her father Gary. Kim Bauer went with her, but found herself under suspicion when the attending doctor found evidence of Gary's abuse and called police. Kim called Carla Matheson and urged her to come to hospital to settle the matter. Carla agreed, but Gary stopped her as she tried to leave, ultimately murdering her, and went to the hospital himself to get Megan. ("Day 2: 11:00am-12:00pm")

When Kim saw the arriving officers, she tried to get to Megan's room, but met Gary outside, who threatened to have her arrested unless she left and never tried to get in contact with him or Megan again. After learning from Jack Bauer that there was a nuclear bomb in the city, Kim resolved to take Megan with her before leaving for San Jose, and called her boyfriend Miguel for help getting Megan out of the hospital. ("12:00pm-1:00pm")

As Gary was preparing to take Megan and flee the country, Miguel called the nearby receptionist pretending to be a hospital accountant, drawing Gary away long enough for Kim to collect her. As they made their way downstairs, Gary returned to find that Megan was gone, and told her nurse to alert hospital security. In order to make it out of the building, Miguel stole a computer monitor from the front desk, leading most of the security guards outside and allowing Kim and Megan to sneak away. Gary caught up with them outside, but Miguel fought him and knocked him unconscious. As they had no car to flee the city, the three of them stole Gary's car, which, unknown to them, still had Carla Matheson's body in the trunk. ("1:00pm-2:00pm")
