Steven Culp (born December 3, 1955; age 68) played agent Ted Simmons during Season 2 of 24.

Biography and career[]

Steven Culp was born in La Jolla, California. He attended First Colonial High School in Virginia. Culp then graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1978 with a major in English literature. He also studied at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom and earned an MFA from Brandeis University in 1981.

Prior to his role on 24, Culp had brief recurring roles on shows such as One Life to Live, Ally McBeal (with Peter MacNicol and Gil Bellows), Philly (with John Cothran Jr, Pat Healy, and Conor O'Farrell) and Push, Nevada (with Silas Weir Mitchell).

After his appearance on 24, Culp earned recurring stints on ER (with Paul Blackthorne and Maury Sterling), The West Wing (with Natalija Nogulich and Geoff Pierson), Traveler (with Billy Mayo), Star Trek: Enterprise (with John Billingsley, Connor Trinneer, and Daniel Dae Kim), Privileged (with Mary Page Keller), Saving Grace (with Tom Irwin), Grey's Anatomy (with Kim Raver), Revolution (also with Raver, Conor O'Farrell, Colm Feore, Billy Burke, Zeljko Ivanek, Reiko Aylesworth and Glenn Morshower) and Bosch (with Annie Wersching, Mark Derwin, Scott Klace and Paul Vincent O'Connor).
