Thomas Joseph "T.J." Thyne (born March 7, 1975; age 49) played Jason Girard during Season 4 of 24. He is known for playing Dr. Jack Hodgins on the Fox television series Bones from 2005 to 2017.

Biography and career[]

T.J. Thyne was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He attended East Ridge Middle School in Ridgefield, Connecticut, before moving south to Texas, where he finished high school in Plano. He then went to college at the USC School of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, graduating in 1997.

Thyne began his acting career right after graduating. Through his career, he has appeared in shows like Friends (with Patrick Fabian), Walker, Texas Ranger (with Peter Onorati and François Chau), Angel, NCIS (with Pauley Perrette, Michael Gaston, and Francesco Quinn), Boston Legal, and The O.C. (with Alan Dale). From 2005 to 2017, Thyne played Dr. Jack Hodgins in FOX's Bones.

Aside of TV, Thyne has appeared in films lke Ball Don't Lie (with Ricardo Chavira and Nick Chinlund), Something's Gotta Give, TimeCop: The Berlin Decision (with Mary Page Keller, Tava Smiley, and Kenneth Choi), How High, Ghost World (with Pat Healy), Critical Mass, and EdTV (with Dennis Hopper).
