Talk:Conference room

This page needs a lot more information, specifially it needs work on the appearances template. I'm watching S3 at the minute, but if anyone else can cover the other seasons, that would be great. SignorSimon 21:37, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm against listing appearances for this (and other frequently-appearing places). The appearances template was originally for characters for a reason. A room like this, I would assume, was in the majority of episodes, and if not, it was visible in the background or nearby. Would we say it didn't appear if the camera wasn't inside it, filming a meeting? That strikes me as arbitrary. Would we list it every time it was visible at all? I see what you are saying. It wouldn't work for something that is in the background for nearly every episode. However, I think Tech 1 is one that could have an appearances template for, because it is not in it as much, as if it is, it obviously is. But maybe it would be better to keep it so that if we don't have it for one, we don't have it for any. SignorSimon 21:45, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Yes it would be a better idea to keep all "rooms" in general free from a cumbersome collection of appearances templates, instead of arbitrarily selecting a handful. I've removed the appearances template, but the page definately still needs attention. I think a quick rundown of when it is used for each season would be good. SignorSimon 23:36, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
