Her name is Joanna, not Joanne. Also, should we make pages for these Omicron employees? ---William.Y.Fremont 10:54, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

Does Jack not call her joanne? I think her most commonly used name is Joanne, there is already a redirect for 'Joanna Tandy' so that name on that list is covered. And yes, all those names are eligible for articles if you want to make them. The thing with these lists of names is that it's hard to know who they are or how to link them - In series one, for example, I have a shot of Nina's computer that has literally hundreds of names on it, but I don't think I'll make articles for them all for practicality reasons--Acer4666 11:03, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

Jack called her Joanna. ---William.Y.Fremont 11:19, March 7, 2011 (UTC)

My bad, good spot!--Acer4666 12:36, March 7, 2011 (UTC)
Nice catch William, I moved the page according to that iu source for name.
For very minor characters with name discrepancies, the decision has been split in the past (see Laurie Hansen and the Talk page). In this case, I'd support "JoannA" even if Jack called her Joanne because the proper name appeared prominently on-screen. The show runners made a point to have this name clearly determined iu.
Also I'd like to second Acer's point about the names in the list. The current incarnation of the policy states that they could receive articles — and several such lists have had character articles filled out in the past — but... they don't accomplish or illuminate anything. They're just made "for the sake of completeness"; my opinion is that such mentioned characters should be eligible for articles if they are active characters or if they are notable (such as, they are named after crew). A few weeks back, a user made all the names for the agents in the S7 FBI operation. This is okay in my view because they're actually doing something in the show. However if you look at the work I did to update those articles, I believe you'll see why I do not think it is practical to do it for all such "filler" names. Proudhug probably still disagrees with this but I wonder... Blue Rook  talk  contribs 13:20, March 7, 2011 (UTC)
But you did made pages for characters like Daniel Zbel and some others. ---William.Y.Fremont 14:49, March 7, 2011 (UTC)
False.
I have, however, helped other users keep such lists maintained/complete. If someone starts something, and it's not up to standard, I'll help where I can. Blue Rook  talk  contribs 15:24, March 7, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, my bad. --William.Y.Fremont 15:40, March 7, 2011 (UTC)
