DisambiguationEdit

Should we add a disambiguation note above pointing to Navid's article? Thief12 (talk) 16:41, May 13, 2014 (UTC)

For sure! This guy may get a surname in later episodes, but can't hurt to disambiguate for now--Acer4666 (talk) 16:53, May 13, 2014 (UTC)
I just noticed that he's listed as "Navid" in IMDb. We know IMDb is not reliable, but there might be a possibility that we have to move it later, just like we had to do with Derrick Yates. Thief12 (talk) 17:06, May 13, 2014 (UTC)
True - I believe we're going of the closed captioning for the spelling at the moment, which is a canonical source of names whereas imdb is not. However, the previously on 24 or some on-screen file may spell it Navid--Acer4666 (talk) 17:08, May 13, 2014 (UTC)
On this topic, I'm looking for the source of the name of the other Navid, which I suspect may have purely come from imdb--Acer4666 (talk) 17:09, May 13, 2014 (UTC)
Anyone oppose to moving the page to Naveed Shabazz? --William (talk) 13:06, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
Where does that spelling come from?--Acer4666 (talk) 13:08, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
At least that's the spelling I saw on the episode's caption and on Hulu. What I'm wondering is, if Naveed is Shabazz, why Farah is Azizan? I mean, we don't know if Farah is married or using whatever name... but it's just weird. Thief12 (talk) 13:14, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
I don't consider it weird at all. It's clear that Farah got married to a Mr. Azizan. --William (talk) 13:25, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
It would be a lot more uncommon for the mother of a ~10 year old girl to be unmarried--Acer4666 (talk) 13:26, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
But what I find weird is the writer's decision to use several last names for two related characters, instead of just keeping it simple. At least for us! :-D Thief12 (talk) 13:31, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
The same reason they don't use the same last name for every character on the show? To have the Yasmin's father's surname as exactly the same as Farah's maiden name would be a ridiculously far fetched coincidence.
I understand. My comment was pretty much tongue-in-cheek ;-) Thief12 (talk) 13:38, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
Back on the spelling issue, what is the "episode's caption"? Hulu subtitles aren't on the canon policy in terms of spelling sources. The common spelling of the name is "Shahbaz"--Acer4666 (talk) 13:35, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
iTunes has it as "Shabazz" --Pyramidhead (talk) 17:36, June 10, 2014 (UTC)
That was the one on FOX when the episode aired, and it's the one on Hulu also. Thief12 (talk) 00:23, June 11, 2014 (UTC)
I recall with 99% certainty that it was "Shabazz" on FOX (USA) too. Blue Rook  talk  contribs 22:55, June 15, 2014 (UTC)

Last NameEdit

Can someone add his last name? Tonight's episode revealed it was "Shabazz", but I can't rename the page.
