Actor[]
I think he is played by Keith Woulard. --William (talk) 16:43, August 9, 2019 (UTC)
- They do look similar, but I'm not convinced they're definitely the same person (a few minor differences in the way they look). Is Davies a recurring background guard? Is there a reason they would use a stunt performer for this role?--Acer4666 (Talk) 18:40, August 9, 2019 (UTC)
At least I only spotted him in this episode. I'm not sure whether he's recurring and I don't know the function of this role as he only brought Tony to the interrogation room, released his handcuffs and left. I think there could be an editing in between. --William (talk) 04:22, August 10, 2019 (UTC)
Name[]
According to the background continuity binders, there was a guard from episode 23 called "RAYNES", played by "Sean Spilvio" (maybe "Silvio"?). I couldn't find any info on that performer yet, but could the name badge potentially be RAYNES rather than DAVIES?--Acer4666 (Talk) 22:33, 2 August 2022 (UTC)
- I don't have access to the episode right now, but now that you say it, the letter "D" does potentially look like "R". Gonna need someone with keener eyes to check on that. --William (talk) 02:16, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- Does the name RAYNES come from the name tag in the behind-the-scenes photo or a handwritten note below? So do many other names (Morrow, 1-Mary-38's Jenkins, etc).
- On a side note, do all these Division/District extras from S2 (like Bruce Nozick's "Jim Smith") all have close-up shots of their badges? Sorry I know you probably still sorting through these information. --William (talk) 07:12, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
- There are two types of binders:
- The "day players" ones, which is mainly cast actors and stunt performers. In this, each person gets a whole page, headed with performer name and character name at the top, with potentially multiple photos and lots of handwritten notes (like this)
- The "background" ones, which contain mainly background extras. They consist of pages of just polaroids, with just bare minimum notes written on the edges of the polaroid border.
- The sources of names either come from the "character name" at the top of the day players page, in which case the source is probably a script/casting call type source; or from costumer's notes, in which case it is likely an aide-mémoire of what nametag was used on the costume. There's not many photos where the name tag is visible in the photos, although there are a few.
- For your specific examples: Raynes is from the a handwritten note in the background binder. Morrow is the same. Jenkins is from the character name at the top of a Day Players page. For Bruce Nozick's character, "Jim" comes from the name at the top of the Day Players page, and "J. Smith" comes from a legible picture of his name badge. The rest of the Division/District extras were in the background binder, so their name tags weren't legible in the picture.
- On the "RAYNES" name tag; as well as the first letter looking like R, the letter after the "V/Y" looks more like an "N" than the thin vertical line that would be the "I"--Acer4666 (Talk) 07:26, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

- Thank you for your detailed clarification and explanation! Yeah, I think that's indeed Raynes, possibly a recyle of Raynes earlier. Now I will get out the way and let you do the magic.:P --William (talk) 08:21, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
