6:00pm-7:00pm?[]
Kirk Baltz is credited with appearing in Day 1 6:00pm-7:00pm but I assume his scenes were cut before the episode aired. However, I think I may have spotted him. Mason instantly beams over from CTU and asks where Hanlin is. Jack tells him "over there" and Mason walks off screen to talk to Hanlin. After a phone conversation with Palmer, Jack starts towards his car when Mason runs over, asking where he's going. At 06:08 on the R1 DVD, I'm pretty sure Hanlin can be seen out of focus in the background standing with Mason and two other men, and again at 06:42 behind Jack. If everyone else agrees that this is indeed him, we can finally add his lost appearance onto his page! --Proudhug 03:10, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sure that's him - same clothes and stance as Kirk Baltz. I've added the appearance--Acer4666 (talk) 15:25, April 25, 2012 (UTC)
Antagonist[]
Why is he listed as antagonist? I know he killed Alan Morgan, but he wasn't working for Victor Drazen in away. Is this because he hates Jack Bauer? --Station7 17:04, October 3, 2011 (UTC)
- "Antagonist" is not synonymous with "terrorist" so a character doesn't have to be in league with the terrorists to be an antagonist. Hanlin tormented Jack in the field, endangering his cover, then broke protocol and foolishly caused the death of a key witness. Aside from Jovan, Hanlin is probably the most memorable antagonist of that episode. In a way you can compare him to Gary Matheson, who was not a terrorist either but certainly was an antagonist.
