Can it be assumed that certain military members are US Marines? Edit

We know that Cadden is a Marine, as well as all other military members guarding the White House and wearing that same combat-style uniform on Day 7. The military guards on the main level of the White House on Day 4 are obviously Marines in their Dress Blues. Can it be assumed that the military men standing guard for David Palmer at Northwest Regional Operations Complex and District, and the fully armed guards in the White House bunker on Days 4 and 6 and on the presidential retreat in Day 5, and the Embassy guards in Redemption? The general policy on this is - if you see something in the show that is not explicitly identified by dialogue, but you can obviously see that's what it is, then you can add it to an already-existing article about that thing. A prime example of when this policy is useful is for the cougar who attacks Kim or Joseph wald's dog. So if there are people who are obviously marines, then they can be identified as such, but if it's a judgement call you're making based on the fact marines are often at the white house etc...that could be open to interpretation, then it's best to play safe and not make any assumptions. Remember, often the way the military works in 24 is not always the same as in real life (the air force flying F-18s in Season 4, etc)--Acer4666 (talk) 22:55, March 13, 2013 (UTC)
Just a quick FYI - the Day 2 uniformed military men at CTU District are Marines, most clearly seen when they come with Agent Pierce into the conference room to detain President Palmer. Nfl392 (talk) 22:41, March 25, 2013 (UTC)
