Agent Taylor was a CTU field agent. He participated in the mission code-named Albatross.

Agent Taylor, along with agents Solof, Dillon, Landon and Jack Bauer, was assigned to protect the recently-defected IRA member Moira O'Neal from harm by her former associates until she could be debriefed by the CIA.
Agents Taylor and Landon were already stationed at the Arizona desert safe house when O'Neal arrived, escorted by Solof, Dillon, and Bauer. Taylor stood guard outside the house, and checked in by radio around 7:25pm. Shortly afterward, Tim McGinnis slit his throat with a knife.
