Tech 1

Tech 1 was a large, secure server room inside of Los Angeles CTU, dominated by a large circular bank of computer screens in the center of the room from which most of the work is done. They could bring up surveillance of any part of CTU. The room was soundproof and shielded from electromagnetic pulse bombs because it housed much of CTU's technical equipment.

Day 3

Gael Ortega used this room during the events of Day 3. He organized and helped Hector Salazar free his brother and capture Jack Bauer. Once she discovered his plan, Kim Bauer was taken captive by Gael and secured in Tech 1. Adam found her soon after, and she told him that Gael had kidnapped her, and he was arrested. ("6:00pm-7:00pm", "7:00pm-8:00pm")

Kim Bauer brought Angela to Tech 1 and spoke to Tony about the fact Chloe had lied about Angela's parents. Tony told her that he could not afford to take Chloe out of play, and that they would have to deal with her family issues on another day. ("12:00am-1:00am")

Later, Chloe O'Brian worked out of the Tech room when Nina Myers tricked Jack into releasing a worm into CTU that would open the systems for anyone to access, such as terrorists, that could give out information on undercover moles. She managed to neutralize the threat. ("1:00am-2:00am")

The next morning, Tony Almeida used Tech 1 to delete satellite frames of Stephen Saunders escaping from 21904 Collins. He then sent Chloe there to trace the carrier signal from a phone call with Saunders, but called later to order her to stop. Chloe managed to unscramble the voice track of the call, and realised that Saunders had Tony's wife, but at that moment Tony remotely locked her in the room. Jack released her, and Chloe explained the situation to him. ("9:00am-10:00am")

Michelle was working in Tech 1 later when Tony entered, and told her he was back in custody and would be going to prison. They said farewell to each other before Tony was led away. ("12:00pm-1:00pm")
