Terry Lamont Savage (June 9, 1972 – August 26, 2017; age 45) co-starred as a CTU guard named Benson during Season 6 of 24. The character's name was provided only on his name badge; Terry was credited for playing "CTU Guard #1" and "#4".
Biography and career[]
Terry Savage was born and raised in San Diego, California. He was the youngest of two sons born to Ermon and Effie Jewel Savage. He attended Johnson Elementary School and then Gompers Secondary School. During high school, Savage became a disc jockey on 92.5 XHRM-FM, as part of the SOS JAMS crew. He then studied at Howard University, where he studied Radio/TV/Film and minored in Theatre Arts.
Savage's first credited role was in 2003, in the short film Billie. After that, he has appeared in TV shows like ER (with Daniel Dae Kim), Over There (with Omid Abtahi, Sprague Grayden, and Brigid Brannagh), The Loop (with Eric Christian Olsen), Suburgatory, and Code Black (with Gonzalo Menendez). Aside from TV shows, Savage also appeared in some films like Bewitched and Deceitful.
Savage died on August 26, 2017.[1]
