The China Queen was a large container ship under the sovereignty of the People's Republic of China.

Cheng Zhi, the head of security at the Chinese consulate, threatened to send Howard Bern for an 18-day journey from San Diego to Hangzhou on the China Queen unless he divulged the name of the person responsible for the raid on the Chinese consulate. Bern gave in and surrendered the name of Jack Bauer.

- Though the China Queen was not seen in Season 4, Cheng did make good on his threat to kidnap an American operative during Season 5, albeit with a different ship. In "Day 5: 6:00am-7:00am," Jack Bauer was kidnapped by Cheng, who tells him that China had a long memory and had not forgotten what happened at the consulate during Season 4, and that he was going to pay.
