Timothy Dean Seyfert (born April 29, 1977; age 43) is an American actor who played Harris, a checkpoint marine, in 24: Live Another Day.

Biography and career Edit

Tim Seyfert was born in San Jose, California. He is of Italian, German, Portuguese, and English descent. He attended San Francisco State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. During his time in college, Seyfert was a swimmer for his university's team. After that, he worked as a production assistant for CBS News, and later as a newspaper reporter.

With time, Seyfert decided to pursue a career in filmmaking. He moved to the UK, and studied film at the University of Bristol in Southwest England, graduating with a Master's degree in 2008. Aside from appearing in some short films, his first credited role was as King Arthur on an episode of Mystery Files. In 2015, he also appeared in two episodes of Poldark.

Aside from TV shows, Seyfert has appeared in films like The Fold, Cuckoo, From This Day, The Hidden Persuades, and The Kindness of Strangers. He has also acted in numerous short films during the course of his career.

Seyfert also works as a Lecturer of English at Truro & Penwith College in the UK. Prior to that, he was a Teacher of English at Penrice Academy.

Role on 24 Edit

Seyfert played the role of Harris during 24: Live Another Day. Harris was a United States Marine working at the checkpoint of the United States Embassy in London. During "Day 9: 1:00pm-2:00pm", he checked Jack Bauer's fake ID as he was trying to infiltrate the Embassy. The name of "Harris" was visible in his uniform during some pictures of the cast on set, but it's not visible during the scene.
