Tom Hardiman was an NYPD officer and friend of Bill Prady.

Hardiman informed Prady that an NYPD lockup had been raided, and an officer left comatose. Nick Coughlin's fingerprints were found on the assault weapon. He also told Prady that the security feed had been tampered with during the raid, and provided him with an inter agency data request so that Prady could get the raw footage from CTU's archives and find out who tampered with it.
