Vincent Jeffrey "V.J." Foster (born July 18) played Beresch's right-hand man during Season 5 of 24.


Foster was born in San Francisco. He attended high school at Junipero Serra High in San Mateo, California. During his youth, Foster raced motocross. During high school, he developed an interest in acting while making home gangster films with his friends.

Foster began his career in 1990, appearing in the film Brain Dead. After that, he has been featured in films like The Shawshank Redemption (with Jude Ciccolella and Mark Rolston), The Insider (with Colm Feore), Million Dollar Baby (with Benito Martinez), Jarhead (with James Morrison), and The Mannsfield 12 (starring Tony Todd).

Aside from films, Foster has also appeared in TV shows like The Shield (also with Martinez), Cold Case, NCIS (with Pauley Perrette), NCIS: Los Angeles (with Eric Christian Olsen), Southland (with Michael Cudlitz), CSI: Cyber, and Criminal Minds.

Role on 24[]

Foster played the role of terrorist Anton Beresch's right-hand man. His character appeared in a total of two episodes and had a significant role in the takeover of the Ontario Airport. Despite his notable role, Foster's character was never named. Foster was credited as a guest star.
