Vinod was an analyst in the Data Services department of ATU.
In the early hours of Day 1, Jai Singh Rathod called Vinod and sent him the fingerprint of an assassin he had killed earlier that night. Jai asked Vinod to identify the shooter based on the fingerprint data. Vinod could not find any match in the database, so called Jai back 15 minutes later to inform him. Jai mused that if the fingerprint existed, then so did the finger and hence the person, but Vinod speculated that the assassin had wiped all trace of his records. ("Day 1: 2:00am-3:00am")
