Wade Andrew Williams (born December 24, 1961; age 62) played Robert Ellis during Season 1 of 24.

Biography and career

Wade Andrew Williams was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Tulsa, and later went to Rutgers University, where he earned an MFA in acting.

Williams began his acting career at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park in The Taming of the Shrew with Morgan Freeman and Tracey Ullman. Williams also had a role with Denzel Washington in Richard III. He continued with performances on and off Broadway and toured nationally in productions such as Guys and Dolls, Les Misérables, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Ragtime, and Show Boat.

Williams started his television career appearing in series like Profiler, Night Man (with François Chau), The Larry Sanders Show (with Penny Johnson Jerald and Mary Lynn Rajskub), Star Trek: Voyager, NYPD Blue (with Ricky Schroder), and ER (with Paul McCrane and Eriq La Salle). He has also appeared in shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer (with Karim Prince), Gideon's Crossing (with Ravi Kapoor, Lucinda Jenney, and John Billingsley), Six Feet Under (with Brian Kimmet), Enterprise (also with Billingsley), The Agency (with Gil Bellows and Will Patton), Threat Matrix (with Anthony Azizi), Boomtown (with Lana Parrilla), CSI: Miami (with Rory Cochrane), and Over There (with Omid Abtahi, Sprague Grayden, and Navid Negahban). He also had recurring roles on MDs (with Terrell Tilford) and The Bernie Mac Show, plus a lead role on Prison Break.
